A Tuesday Trip to OMSI
The boys and I took a trip to have lunch on the Promenade and then the afternoon at OMSI.
We took the biketrain, of course. However, this time we put a movie camera on the back to film the ride.
The ride took about 30 minutes, but for your viewing pleasure, I have reduced it by 1/5 to just over 6 minutes.
I was unable to get the video camera set up in such a way to get the whole biketrain, with all of its articulation as well as the trailer. This was a test ride. You will see the camera tilt over part way through the video. The camera was also a bit too "bouncy" attached to the trailer.
I would like to construct a system to place the video camera out in front of the lead driver, looking back. OR a cantilever of sorts from the back, looking forward. Something to do to keep me busy.
It was a fun time. Soren and Asa, in the trailer, outside of camera view were singing Scooby-Doo songs as well as making up new ones. Kael, the kid on the tail-a-bike, got into the roll of dramatic expression whilst riding. He is the ham in the family.

Travis, you are THE MAN. I have been using my 3 kids as an excuse for driving my van around town and NOT bicycling with everyone in tow. What I whined about being unable to do, you did. Wow.
